I remember the first time I was old enough to go out to a bar when I was visiting. Dianne took me around and Gerald was at one place. He took me for a dance. I remember thinking he was the grandest, most handsome man ever, and how kind he was to pay attention to his little cousin. I always felt welcome around Gerald. He was a gracious, gregarious soul. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even in death they continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
