I knew Howard Struge when I lived in Lloydminster. What a sweet man he was. He showed such genuine concern for my father when he was ill and he frequently dropped by to have a friendly chat and lift Dad's spirits. Howard had a gift of being able to talk to everyone and make everyone feel valued and important. Howard Struge was a man of character and quality who cared a great deal for other folks and it showed in his words and deeds. Howard's Family: I am very saddened to hear of Howards death but I also feel grateful to have known such a caring and wonderfully genuine good man. I hope he and my dad are chatting in Heaven now and sharing some smiles. Bless you during this difficult time.

Dear Family, I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your father, Howard. Although you may not know me, my association with him, and your family, has existed for about 37 years. Here are some snippets of memories: To begin with, I taught school with Rosemary at Neville Goss School in the early 1970's. Then later in the 70's, I recall a time when Howard and Rosemary attended a Bible Study with my parents, Dave and Florence Garratt, likely coordinated by Elwood McLean. They became good friends during that time. A little later still, some of you were in classes taught by my first husband, Dave Isaak, at the Lloydminster Jr. High School. More recently, I have memories of times spent at Pleasantview Bible Camp where some of you were camp counsellors for many summers. Howard was one of my valued volunteers at the Canadian Cancer Society where I work. For many years, he helped with the annual daffodil campaign, and cheerfully gave us help in other areas of our work whenever he was available. I can recall many conversations in my office when he would drop by for a cup of coffee and a visit after volunteering. Every conversation included words of encouragement even though he himself was undergoing much physical pain at the time. So many people have referred to his kind heart, and that he was a gentleman. That is exactly what comes to my mind when I think of his life. In fact, he reminded me a lot of my own father in that way. Howard was a remarkable man whose influence in the lives of his family and friends was evident. He deserves the honour which has been bestowed on him through all our memories. May God bless you all. My sincere sympathy to the friends and family of Mr Howard Sturge. He was a special man, filled with love and care for others. He always seemed to have a cheerful and kind word for his fellow man. He was a man filled with humility and concern for the welfare of others. It was an honor to know him for many years. I never saw Howard be anything less than a good man. I believe he is with his God know and he has earned angels wings. Thank you Howard, for being my friend and offering yourself as an example of Christian love. I respected Howard deeply and send my sincere respect to his family.

Dear Sturge Family, Mr Sturge was a dear kind man who did our family a very good turn many years ago. He barely knew us but he cared. We were in bad financial straights and he brought a huge load of groceries to our home and would not take payment even later when we were okay again. He was so kind about it all and gave out little boy a stack of comics. We never forgot this kindness and his generous ways. We have been blessed to have known Mr. Struge. God has a fine addition to heaven. Our Sincere Condolances and Prayers.

Howard was such a kind and lovely man. At a time in life, a family member was having some terrible health problems...Howards was always so kind and supportive and he used to stop in at my work just to see how everything was going. He always had a gentle kind word and some encouragement. I think he was a special and wonderful man and he blessed people greatly. My sincere sympathy to all of Howards family and friends. You can always be very proud of being Howards offspring.
