John was a great man and friend. Page Oilfield was a well respected company, making us proud to work there. John taught us how to work hard but also play hard. He never judged the guys that worked for him but gave us a "second try". I wish he would have wrote a book about all the adventures he and the rest of the guys at Page experienced!! I once remember racing another vehicle with the Page crew truck down 50th Ave in Lloydminster and John commenting from the gas station, as we went by "If the engines survives I think Kelly is going to beat him". After a life changing accident I had at Page Oilfield, John supported me and helped me keep things in perspective. Please know John will always hold a special spot in my heart as he will with so many others. He was a very caring person who never forgot where he came from or about the people around him. It was great knowing you John, I look forward to seeing you on the other side. Kelly Hines
