Obituary of Harvey Ramsay

Obituary Harvey Ramsay of Neilburg, Saskatchewan, passed away in the Maidstone Hospital on Monday, July 24, 2006 at the age of 75 years, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Alice, of 53 years; sons: David, Randy (Tammy) and Kevin (Valerie); daughters: Diane (Sid) Graham, Tina (Darren) Tyler, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also, brothers: Raoul, Ben, Andrew, Luc and Mike; sisters: Theresa, Bernadette Laurette and Jeannette and families. Vigil of prayer service was held, Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Cut Knife, Saskatchewan with Father Ted Jerome officiating. A funeral mass and memorial service was held in the Neilburg Community Hall on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Father Ted Jerome officiating. Beautiful hymns and music was supplied by “Relative Harmony” Gospel band. The eulogy was given by Elven and Gladys Christensen. The pallbearers were Harvey’s grandchildren. A video presentation, “A Tribute to Harvey” was done by son Kevin. Lunch was served by the Manitou Pioneer Museum ladies. Cremation followed. Interment will be at a later date on the family farm.
