A little over 3 years ago i met Grampa Bunt when his Grandson brought me home to meet him and Grandma Greta. Right away i felt like an important part of his family. I feel pride in saying that Bunt and Greta are my grandparents too, and I will miss him and wish I got to see him more often. The Prafke family are in my thoughts and Kevin and I wish we could be there. LOVE ALWAYS Julie

Bunt and I started out as friends in our youth and enjoyed a great comradship. Over the years we have stayed in touch even though the great rush of life consumed us both. WhatI liked about Bunt was his rather crisp and somewhat stuborn outer shell but his sincere and honest inner self endeared him to me forever. In terms that he and I would have conversed I would have said, "he was a great guy to be out on the trail with." Our adventures took us to the far North and back again but there was one thing that was always clear with Bunt, his home and family meant more to him than all the adventures of the world. I will miss Bunt greatly and my thoughts today and for many days to come will include Greta and Bunt's family and his two sisters, Betty and Ida.
