Ashley and I went to high school and first year college together. We weren't the best of friends but she brightened my day every day in first year Psychology class. We would sit together and she would always have an awesome story to tell me, which was a huge boost and something I looked forward to. The last time I saw Ashley she was pregnant with her daughter. I am very sorry to hear of both of their passings and I send my deepest condolences.

I did not know Ashley but when I read these words written in her tribute I was touched deeply... " We will always remember her beautiful and ready smile and her gentle spirit. She would have been a lovely mother of our grandchild but it wasn`t to be." I knew what a lovely and special person she must have been for anyone to write such a deeply heartfelt thought. May God comfort all who miss Ashley. I am so sorry for the loss. Angie Fredrickson

We wanted to let you know how saddened we were to hear of Ashleys tragic passing. On behalf of all the children here at Noahs Ark Playschool please accept our condolences knowing that we were so very blessed to have had her here at our playschool. We know that God works all things for the good of those who love him. Her smile was infectious, and we enjoyed her ideas and committed energy. When she told the children the story of Zacchaeus "the wee little man" we knew she understood the miracle of a changed heart, and so we rejoice in the blessed assurance of everlastng life.

I received the privledge of knowing your daughter and sister through my 2 years of Red Deer College. I will miss her greatly and want to send my condolences out to you and want you to know that Ashley will always be within my heart. She put a huge affect on my life and her spunky and bubbly- attitude made it a blast to hang out with her. She was the best friend you always wanted, and I am thankful for having her as my best friend now and forever. She was always there for you no matter what and could talk with her for hours on end and not get sick of the conversation. She was a great person to know and the people she touched within her life she impacted deeply and will be dearly missed. I'm sorry for your loss.

Josh, I haven't had the chance to see you for many years now but wanted to send you my condolences. Your sister's death is a tragedy - she was much too young. Please pass on our sympathies to all of your family on this sad occasion.

I may of met Ashley only a few times, but I knew her through my parents - who adored her, and my brother who shared part of his life with her. I can say that when I found out that my brother and Ashley were expecting, I was pleased at the thought of her being a permanent part of our family. After Emily's birth, I still considered Ashley to be an extended part of our family. I cannot express how deeply sorry and saddened I am by the news of Ashley's passing, and can only hope that the thought of her being with her baby girl can ease her family's grief.

On behalf of all of us in the Early Childhood Department, we wish to extend our sympathy for your loss. Thinking of Ashley, it seems fitting that you have chosen The Children's Wish Foundation, as we know that she would have wanted her loss to be memorialized in a way that helps children. We will be making a donation and picturing the happiness it will help bring to a child, as we remember Ashley and all of the happiness she brought to children through her work.
